PSG To Face Arsenal In Champions League Final After Knocking Out Bayern.

Published

Paris Saint-Germain have booked their place in the UEFA Champions League final after a tightly contested 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich, securing a 6-4 aggregate victory and setting up a final clash with Arsenal in Budapest.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The reigning champions made a flying start in Bavaria, taking the lead just three minutes into the match. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia raced onto a defence-splitting pass from Fabián Ruiz and cut the ball back for Ousmane Dembélé, who smashed home a first-time finish into the roof of the net to quiet the home supporters.

Bayern Munich responded with pressure of their own, as Luis Díaz and Michael Olise both sent efforts over the bar while coach Vincent Kompany protested a penalty decision after Vitinha’s clearance struck João Neves in the box.

Despite sustained pressure, PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov produced key saves to deny Jamal Musiala before half-time. At the other end, Manuel Neuer kept Bayern in the contest with important stops from Kvaratskhelia and Désiré Doué as PSG adopted a more defensive approach in the second half.

Harry Kane eventually found an injury-time equaliser, scoring his 14th goal of the campaign, but it was not enough to change the outcome. Bayern’s hopes of a 12th European Cup final appearance were dashed, extending their run of semi-final exits.

PSG now move one step closer to defending their European crown. Head coach Luis Enrique, a former winner of the competition with FC Barcelona, will lead the French side into his third Champions League final when they face Arsenal on May 30, 2026, in Budapest.
