With the formal return of his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the APC Governorship Primary, Senator Saliu Mustapha has now moved from speculation to full political declaration… and the momentum around his ambition is becoming impossible to ignore.

Across party circles, grassroots conversations, and stakeholder gatherings, one narrative keeps surfacing: Saliu Mustapha is no longer just participating in the race… many believe he is rapidly becoming the candidate to watch.

What makes this moment even more significant is the style of his politics. Quiet. Calculated. Consistent. While others chase headlines daily, Mustapha has spent years building relationships across communities, strengthening political structures, and maintaining visibility within the APC family in Kwara State.

Now, with the governorship forms officially returned, supporters see it as more than a routine political process. To them, it is the official ignition of a movement already gaining serious traction across the state. 🗳️

For many observers, his appeal cuts across different layers:

👉 Grassroots acceptance
👉 Youth connection
👉 Party loyalty
👉 National political relevance
👉 Organisational stability

And in a political season where structure, familiarity, and strategic alliances may determine everything, his supporters believe the wind may already be tilting in his favour.

The bigger question now is no longer whether Saliu Mustapha is in the race.

The real question echoing across Kwara political circles is: Can anyone stop the growing momentum behind him? ⚡
