Speaking during a recent interview on WithChude, hosted by media personality Chude Jideonwo, she discussed the realities of being married to a public figure, noting that fame often comes with attention, speculation, and external pressures.

Priscilla explained that her approach to marriage is grounded in trust based on character rather than fear of temptation or outside influence. According to her, every individual is ultimately responsible for their own decisions regardless of circumstances.

She expressed confidence in her husband’s discipline, saying she trusts his values and believes he will act in line with them. For her, peace of mind comes from understanding the kind of person he is, rather than worrying about external factors.

The mother of one stated that while people cannot control others’ actions, trust remains essential in a healthy relationship.

She said: “If my husband decides to cheat, it’s his decision, but he’s a very disciplined man and I know he won’t. I don’t stress myself about who is around him or what people might do. At the end of the day, it comes down to the kind of man he is and the values he holds.

“You can’t control everything. If someone wants to do something, they will do it. But I trust my husband, and that gives me peace. I believe in trust and understanding. That’s what keeps a relationship strong, not fear.”

She explained that the decision was influenced by the level of attention she receives whenever she appears at church services.

In a video shared on her Snapchat page, Akindele was seen at home preparing breakfast and getting her children ready for church, while stating that she would not accompany them to the church building. Instead, she said she prefers to join the service online.
