The triumph ended Omonia’s five-year wait for league success and handed Uzoho his first domestic league title since joining the club in 2021.

Although largely serving as the team’s second-choice goalkeeper this season, the Nigerian international made five league appearances, recorded three clean sheets, and conceded just three goals.

With the league title secured, Omonia will now shift focus to European competition, as the club is set to compete in the second qualifying round of next season’s UEFA Champions League.

Elsewhere, Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku is reportedly preparing to part ways with Serie A champions Napoli after the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

According to transfer expert Nicolò Schira, Napoli are willing to let the forward leave for around €10 million despite his contract running until 2027.

Interest in Lukaku is said to be growing, with clubs from Turkey and Saudi Arabia already monitoring his situation.

Reports suggest uncertainty over Lukaku’s future at Napoli has intensified following criticism from manager Antonio Conte, who has reportedly expressed dissatisfaction with the striker’s recent performances and conduct.

The former Chelsea and Manchester United forward is also said to be facing disciplinary concerns after allegedly missing training sessions in recent weeks.
