In a statement issued on Monday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, clarified that the ADC is not engaged in any form of negotiations with other political parties in anticipation of an upcoming court ruling.

He stressed that the party’s leadership has no intention of abandoning the ADC platform, describing reports suggesting otherwise as unfounded and speculative.

Abdullahi stated that the leadership remains focused on challenging what it described as unlawful actions taken against it by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other actors linked to the ruling party, expressing confidence that the judiciary would uphold the rule of law.

While noting that the party remains open to broader opposition collaboration aimed at strengthening democracy, he maintained that there are currently no talks with any political group, including the PRP.

The clarification follows remarks by the PRP National Chairman, Hakeem Baba Ahmed, who recently disclosed that several opposition figures had approached his party in recent weeks seeking possible alignment ahead of the next general elections. Participants at the forum highlighted the need for Nigeria to address structural barriers affecting business growth, while pointing to Israel’s innovation-driven economy as a model worth studying.

One of the attendees, Pastor Henry Opara, called for formal bilateral agreements, stressing that most current business interactions between both countries are informal and based on personal relationships rather than structured government frameworks.

He argued that stronger government-to-government agreements would provide clearer rules and more stable economic engagement.

Tinubu Approves New Police Academy Campus, ₦15 Billion Grant.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the establishment of a new campus of the Nigeria Police Academy in Erinja, Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

According to a statement issued on Monday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President also approved a special take-off grant of ₦15 billion to support the project.

The statement explained that the approval aligns with the provisions of the Nigeria Police Academy (Establishment) Act, 2021, which provides for the expansion of the academy, currently based in Wudil, Kano State, into multiple campuses across the country.

It further stated that the funding will come from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) 2026 allocation and will be used for key infrastructure such as academic buildings, student accommodation, and essential training facilities.

A high-level meeting involving the Minister of Police Affairs, the Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, senior officials of the Federal Ministry of Education, the Inspector-General of Police, and the National Universities Commission recommended Erinja as the location for the new campus.

The decision was based on factors such as student intake capacity, funding considerations, academic standards, and the long-term manpower needs of the Nigeria Police Force.
