The group made its position known on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, during a press conference in Badagry addressed by its President, Olufemi Iroko, who said sustained progress depends on continuity in leadership.
It praised the performance of Sesi Oluwaseun Whingan at the federal level, saying his representation has produced measurable results beyond legislative duties.
The group highlighted his sponsorship and support for key initiatives, including backing for institutions such as the Badagry University of Technology and the Nigerian French Language Village.
It also credited him with raising motions on issues affecting constituents, including alleged extortion on the Lagos–Badagry Expressway, as well as facilitating interventions like food relief for thousands of households, flood support, solar streetlight installations, and empowerment programmes for youths and farmers.
In education and social welfare, the group cited classroom projects, scholarships, learning materials, and support for women and persons with disabilities.
At the state level, it commended Bonu Solomon for what it described as impactful representation, listing bursaries, job placements, youth empowerment, NYSC support, electrification projects, transformer installations, and road rehabilitation among his achievements.
The group also pointed to ongoing projects such as the Ajido Youth Centre and school infrastructure upgrades.
While acknowledging the right of others to contest elections, the group said Badagry must choose between continuity and uncertainty, arguing that leadership stability is key to sustained development.
It concluded by endorsing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alongside the re-election of the two lawmakers, urging residents to support continuity under the slogan: “Let’s do it again because it is working.”
