Abdullahi Bello, an official from APC’s National Secretariat who oversaw the primaries, commended voters for their peaceful, orderly, and mature participation. Bello, the Kogi State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, described the election as rancour-free and wished all candidates success in the polls.

In his remarks, Edo APC Chairman Jarret Tenebe urged the elected candidates to view their tickets as a call to duty. He emphasized that they must work diligently to secure victory across all 18 local governments and 192 wards.

“The smooth, rancour-free conduct of this exercise reflects our party’s commitment to democratic principles and strengthens cohesion and unity among members. With our best candidates in place, we are strategically positioned for the local government elections,” Tenebe said.

He added that the APC appeal committee has already begun addressing any complaints arising from the primaries.
