We Are Going To Fight – APC Vows To Dismantle Peter Obi’s Influence.

The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ben Nwoye, has declared that the party is ready to dismantle former presidential candidate Peter Obi’s influence ahead of the 2027 general elections.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Speaking on Channels Television, Nwoye acknowledged the strength of the Obidient Movement in the last election and vowed that APC would counter Obi’s impact through the system.

He said, “In the South-East during the last election, the Obidient Movement made huge gains—they won two out of three Senate seats, 15 out of 24 House of Assembly seats, and seven out of eight House of Representatives seats. Obi also made inroads in Delta, Edo, and Lagos states. So, when you have a figure like him moving around with the Obidient Movement still active, every vote counts. We are going to fight through the system to win as much as possible.”

Nwoye added that the APC expects its biggest challenge in 2027 to come from the South, with several southern politicians—including Obi and Rotimi Amaechi—positioning for the presidency.

Peter Obi, who contested under the Labour Party in 2023 and won nine out of 17 southern states, has now joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and is seeking its 2027 presidential ticket.
