“Why Is APC Panicking With 31 Governors?” – Bolaji Abdullahi Calls Out Ruling Party.

Speaking on the Arise TV programme One-on-One on Saturday, Abdullahi asserted that the APC would struggle to win in a free and fair election. He described the party as a “special purpose vehicle” formed to deliver the presidencies of the late Muhammadu Buhari and Bola Tinubu, a mission he said the APC has largely achieved.
He stated:
“In any free and fair election in Nigeria today, there’s no way APC will win. Why is a party with 31 governors and about 90 percent of the National Assembly still panicking? Why are they still trying to destabilise other opposition parties? They should be preparing for Tinubu’s win, given their overwhelming governance. But they are unsettled because they know in a free and fair election, there is no way they can win. Nigerians are tired of them.”
Abdullahi also revealed that the ADC is considering a consensus approach in selecting its presidential candidate for the 2027 general election. He noted that the party is weighing direct primaries against consensus, adding that indirect primaries are no longer an option following the amended Electoral Act.

Lack of Infrastructure and Planning: According to Imoke, the resort lacked basic infrastructure at launch—noting that there was no power supply on the day of commissioning, forcing his administration to provide electricity. He added that the necessary commercial and economic environment was never established, and empty buildings were commissioned without securing anchor tenants beforehand.
