ADC Sends Sharp Birthday Message To Bola Tinubu On His 74th.

Published

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has criticised President Bola Tinubu on his birthday, highlighting the current state of the nation.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

In a statement shared on , ADC National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi said the Tinubu administration’s Renewed Hope promise has instead brought hardship and hopelessness to many Nigerians.

Abdullahi pointed to rising fuel prices and worsening security challenges as evidence of the government’s failure to protect citizens and ensure economic stability. He noted that insecurity has intensified, with more lives lost and communities displaced, while responses from leadership have been insufficient.

While acknowledging that birthdays are moments for reflection, he urged the President to take governance more seriously in the year ahead.

The statement read:

“Happy Birthday, Mr. President. As you mark another year, Nigerians reflect on a presidency whose impact is impossible to ignore. Under your watch, fuel prices have surged nearly 500%, making basic transportation a daily struggle.

Nigeria now ranks 4th on the Global Terrorism Index, with thousands of lives lost, families shattered, and communities displaced. Insecurity has not only persisted but grown, while those who terrorize Nigerians are at times referred to as ‘sons’ and ‘brothers,’ even as victims bury loved ones.

Economic strain has deepened, cost of living has skyrocketed, and the ‘Renewed Hope’ you promised has turned to hopelessness for millions. Political space is narrowing, raising concerns about a drift toward one-party rule in a democracy fought for with blood and sacrifice.

Birthdays are for reflection. As you celebrate this year, Nigerians can only pray for a sudden and unfamiliar miracle: that you take governance seriously, recognize the loss of lives as a leadership failure, and act with the weight and responsibility required to lead the world’s most populous Black nation. We wish you health, better judgment, and a renewed sense of duty to your people.”

Oloyede said many of the issues recorded during the mock exercise were due to poor assessment of centres by some technical officials.

He further stated that incentive packages would be awarded to teams that perform exceptionally, particularly in handling exam materials and submitting timely reports.

Reiterating JAMB’s zero-tolerance stance on malpractice, he warned candidates against bringing prohibited items into examination halls.
