“Iran Fires Back: ‘No Talks With Trump’ Amid Fresh Missile Strikes!”.

Published

on

Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, on Wednesday dismissed reports of ongoing negotiations between Tehran and Washington, contradicting claims by Donald Trump that progress was being made toward ending the conflict.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

According to the envoy, no form of direct or indirect communication has taken place between both sides, despite media reports suggesting otherwise. He acknowledged that some friendly nations have attempted to mediate but stressed that there has been no concrete engagement, describing the ongoing hostilities as “illegitimate aggression.”

Supporting this position, Iran’s military also rejected Washington’s claims of diplomacy. The spokesperson of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Ebrahim Zolfaqari, stated that the United States was effectively “negotiating with itself,” according to state media.

He warned that stability in the region would remain closely tied to Iran’s military stance, adding that pre-war economic conditions would not return unless the US changes its approach.

Meanwhile, the conflict intensified on Wednesday, with Iran launching a new wave of missile and drone attacks. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said the strikes targeted Israel and locations hosting US forces in Kuwait, Jordan, and Bahrain.

Air raid sirens were heard across central Israel, with missile trails visible over Netanya. In Kuwait, a drone strike hit a fuel tank at the international airport, causing a fire, while Jordan reported falling debris near Amman. Bahrain also activated its air defence systems in response to the threats.

The conflict, which began on February 28 following coordinated strikes by the United States and Israel on Iran, has since spread across the Middle East, increasing instability in an already fragile region.

Lebanon has also been heavily affected, as Israeli forces intensified operations against the Iran-backed Hezbollah group. Authorities report that over 1,000 people have been killed, with more than one million displaced amid extensive destruction in southern Beirut.

Despite Iran’s denial, Trump maintained that negotiations were ongoing, claiming Tehran had offered a significant concession related to the Strait of Hormuz, although he provided no further details.

However, Iranian authorities have not confirmed any such development, even as reports hint at possible backchannel diplomacy involving intermediaries, including Pakistan.

At the same time, the United States is reportedly preparing for further escalation, with plans to deploy additional troops to the region.

The Strait of Hormuz remains a major flashpoint due to its importance to global oil supply. Iran has assured the International Maritime Organization that non-hostile vessels will continue to have safe passage but warned that ships linked to the United States and Israel could face restrictions.

The ongoing crisis has already unsettled global markets, forcing countries to cut energy use while airlines reroute or cancel flights.

Concerns are also growing over the broader economic impact. A senior official at the World Trade Organization, Jean-Marie Paugam, warned that disruptions in fertiliser supply could have long-term consequences for global food production.

He noted that any shortage would affect both output and prices, with ripple effects likely to extend into future harvest seasons.

Despite hints of possible diplomacy, the widening gap between Tehran and Washington, combined with escalating military actions, continues to deepen uncertainty across the Middle East and the global economy.

“We Will Rig You!”: Peter Obi Issues Explosive Warning To INEC Over Alleged Election Manipulation!.

Published

on

During a recent visit to Washington, D.C., Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), argued that the prevalence of election rigging in Nigeria is largely due to voters failing to actively defend their ballots. Obi emphasized that while candidates play a role in the process, credible outcomes ultimately depend on citizens remaining at their polling units to ensure votes are counted transparently. He criticized the “transactional” nature of Nigerian politics, suggesting that many voters prioritize other activities over the essential task of monitoring the electoral process. According to Obi, Nigeria’s primary challenge is poor political leadership, and he urged citizens to take collective ownership of their votes to demand the accountable governance required for the country to succeed.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has called for increased citizen involvement in protecting electoral integrity. During a recent trip to Washington, D.C., Obi stated that election manipulation persists because voters frequently leave polling stations before the counting process is completed. He argued that:

  • Voters must proactively defend their ballots at polling units to ensure transparency and prevent rigging.

  • Nigeria’s fundamental obstacle is a crisis of political leadership, rather than a lack of natural or human resources.

  • Real change requires Nigerians to move beyond passive participation and take active responsibility for the electoral process.

  • Call for Unity: The Minister urged Nigerians to prioritize national interest over partisan politics, noting that insecurity is not a tool for scoring political points.

  • Combating Misinformation: He raised alarm over the circulation of “fake and recycled” videos on social media—some dating back years or originating from other countries—which are falsely presented as current events to suggest worsening security under the Tinubu administration. He encouraged citizens to verify information before sharing it.

  • Government Commitment: Highlighting that the Federal Government has ordered security forces to deal decisively with criminal elements, Matawalle acknowledged that while progress is being made, complex security challenges cannot be resolved overnight.

  • Public Cooperation: He called for continued public patience, prayer, and the provision of actionable intelligence to security forces to help restore peace across the country.
