Former Sam Amadi has praised the lifestyle and public conduct of Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The commendation comes during President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s official visit to the United Kingdom with his wife and other government officials, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and attracting foreign investment.

In a post on , Amadi highlighted the First Lady’s poise and dignity, particularly noting her sense of style and well-mannered public appearance. While he acknowledged past controversies—specifically her remarks during the 2023 election period, which he described as a “bad spot”—he maintained that her overall public bearing has been commendable.

He wrote:

“The thing about the First Lady I like is that she dresses well and is dignified. Other things are arguable. But her poise and public bearing since coming to office have been commendable. Of course, the bad spot remains the hate speech during the 2023 election. Beside that, she has been fine.”

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday criticised President Tinubu’s administration, accusing it of ignoring the country’s escalating security crisis.

The opposition alleged that government officials were “wining, dining, and dancing in the blood of Nigerians in a faraway land” while terrorism continues to wreak havoc nationwide.

The criticism followed the release of the 2026 Global Terrorism Index, which ranked Nigeria fourth globally for the impact of terrorism, with the country and four others accounting for nearly 70% of all terrorism-related deaths worldwide.

In response, PDP National Publicity Secretary, Ini Ememobong, said the findings were unsurprising given the prevailing insecurity in Nigeria.
