Trump Told Israel To Stop Attacking Iran — Netanyahu Confirms.

Published

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday, March 19, stated that Israel and the United States are “winning” the ongoing conflict with Iran, claiming that the Islamic Republic has been significantly weakened.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Speaking at an English-language press conference, Netanyahu said Iran had been “decimated” and no longer possessed the capacity to enrich uranium or produce ballistic missiles.

He emphasized that Israel carried out the strike on Iran’s South Pars gas field independently, while acknowledging that US President Donald Trump had intervened by requesting Israel halt further attacks on similar infrastructure.

“President Trump asked us to hold off on future attacks and we’re holding off,” Netanyahu said.

Rejecting claims that he influenced Washington’s decisions, Netanyahu stressed the independence of the US president:

“Does anyone really think that someone can tell President Trump what to do? He didn’t need any convincing. I don’t think any two leaders have been as coordinated as President Trump and I. He’s the leader; I’m his ally.”

Netanyahu painted a picture of strategic success in the nearly three-week conflict, highlighting that key elements of Iran’s military-industrial capacity have been targeted:

“We are taking action to destroy the industries that make it possible to build missiles. Iran no longer has the capacity to enrich uranium and manufacture ballistic missiles. We are winning and Iran is being decimated.”

He also claimed the conflict exposed divisions within Iran’s leadership, pointing to power struggles following the death of Ali Khamenei:

“I’m not sure who’s running Iran right now. Mojtaba Khamenei, the replacement ayatollah, has not shown his face. There is a lot of tension among those vying for power. We’re seeing cracks at the top and in the field, and we’re trying to exploit them.”

Addressing the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, Netanyahu dismissed it as “blackmail” that “won’t work.”

Although Trump had expressed displeasure over the gas field strike, saying, “We’re not doing that anymore,” Netanyahu hinted at a possible early resolution to the conflict:

“There’s still more work to do, and we’re gonna do it. But I also see this war ending a lot faster than people think.”

Gbenjo’s warning comes amid growing controversy surrounding the late singer’s death and burial arrangements, with reports of disagreements among members of his family.

The gospel singer spoke on Tuesday during a night of tributes held in honour of Toluwanisings in Ibadan, Oyo State. He warned against allowing the situation to degenerate into a controversy similar to the one that followed the death of Nigerian singer Mohbad.

Describing the deceased as a devoted Christian and a genuine servant of God, Gbenjo said Toluwanisings was passionate about his faith and had a good relationship with people.

He urged the public to stop fuelling unnecessary controversy over the late singer’s death, particularly through social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.

“You can never see Toluwani in the midst of jobless people. He had a good heart. He was a friend to everybody. He served the Lord with all his heart. Don’t turn Toluwani into Mohbad. That madness on TikTok and Instagram must stop. If you are jobless, go and look for a job,” Gbenjo said.
