United States President Donald Trump has expressed his belief that Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is still alive but may have been injured.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Trump made the remarks during an interview on Fox News’ The Brian Kilmeade Show, amid growing uncertainty about Khamenei’s health and whereabouts. The Iranian leader has not appeared publicly since being selected by a clerical assembly on Sunday.

Instead of speaking directly, Khamenei’s first statements since taking office were read by a television presenter on Thursday, intensifying speculation about his condition.

During the interview, Trump suggested the cleric may have been hurt but remains alive. “I think he probably is [alive]. I think he is damaged, but I think he’s probably alive in some form, you know,” he said. The comments were reported by Fox News late Thursday.

Mojtaba Khamenei assumed Iran’s leadership following the death of his father, Ali Khamenei, who was reportedly killed on the first day of the conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran.

The hostilities began on February 28 when U.S. and Israeli forces struck Iranian targets, prompting retaliatory attacks by Iran against Israel and several Gulf countries hosting U.S. military bases.

In his first message as Supreme Leader, Khamenei vowed to continue Iran’s confrontation with its adversaries. He warned that Iran would keep the Strait of Hormuz closed and urged neighboring countries hosting U.S. bases to shut them down, threatening military action if they did not comply.

As the conflict neared its two-week mark, thousands of casualties were reported, and global financial markets reacted to the escalating tensions. Despite the rising human and economic toll, leaders in Iran, Israel, and the United States have maintained firm stances, pledging to continue the conflict.

According to the source, the twins maintained a daily routine of speaking around midnight, but the conversation took a sudden turn that night when unusual activity was noticed at the General’s end.

He said the line went dead abruptly after the General paused during the call, apparently due to the unfolding situation at the base.

The twin brother reportedly made repeated attempts to reconnect, sending messages and calling continuously, but received no response throughout the night.

“He kept trying until about 4 am, but there was no answer,” the source said.

The family later confirmed the tragedy after a senior military officer contacted them around 6:30 am, informing them that the base had come under attack and that the Brigade Commander was among those killed.

The relative described the incident as devastating, noting that communication had broken down during the assault.

The late General was later buried alongside other fallen soldiers in Maiduguri, Borno State.

He wrote, “Chiemeka Chibuzor’s wedding is hereby suspended. More than a thousand applications. No more wedding pending further directive from me.”

The cleric had earlier this week publicly invited proposals for her marriage, setting conditions that included the suitor being young and in good physical and mental health, alongside promised financial support and housing benefits.

He also said the couple would enjoy lifelong support, including shared property ownership and periodic welfare checks from church members.

The development follows a similar arrangement recently conducted by the church involving a non-verbal autistic man who was married in a ceremony organised by the ministry.
