“Netanyahu Brands Iran’s New Supreme Leader A ‘Revolutionary Guards Puppet’ Amid Rising Tensions”.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has labeled Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, a “puppet of the Revolutionary Guards,” intensifying tensions between the two nations amid the ongoing conflict.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Netanyahu made the remarks during a press conference on Thursday, noting that Khamenei has not appeared publicly since taking office. According to the Israeli leader, the cleric’s limited visibility signals a weakened position within Iran’s power structure. “The cleric cannot show his face in public,” he said.

Mojtaba Khamenei, son of the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, was reportedly injured during an Israeli airstrike in Iran. Netanyahu also suggested that Israel could target enemy leadership in the conflict, asserting that it would not “take out life insurance” for those deemed threats.

The comments come amid nearly two weeks of escalating military confrontations involving Israel, Iran, and the United States.

War Could Spark Regime Change, Says Netanyahu
The Israeli prime minister indicated that the ongoing strikes against Iranian targets could pave the way for political change in Tehran, though he stressed that any leadership shift would ultimately depend on the Iranian people. “I say to the Iranian people: The moment when you can walk out into freedom is drawing ever closer,” he said.

Netanyahu reiterated that the joint military operations with the United States aim to weaken Iran’s nuclear and missile capabilities, delivering “lethal blows” and preventing Tehran from concealing them underground. He also claimed that Israel had eliminated a senior Iranian nuclear scientist during the conflict, without providing further details.

Earlier on Thursday, Mojtaba Khamenei issued his first message since assuming office on March 8, calling for revenge for those killed in the conflict. His statement was read by a news anchor on Iranian state television.

Nigerian High Commissioner to South Africa, Femi Fani-Kayode, has publicly challenged the US-based political advisory and lobbying firm Von Batten-Montague-York to substantiate claims linking President Bola Tinubu to historical drug trafficking. Emphasizing that being the subject of an investigation does not equate to an indictment, prosecution, or conviction, Fani-Kayode demanded that the firm produce explicit evidence and pinpoint where the US government or the DEA formally alleged that the President personally smuggled heroin. He reiterated that the 1993 filings and subsequent 2026 FBI declarations reflect a civil settlement over funds rather than proof of personal involvement, ultimately challenging the firm to back up its sweeping claims regarding institutional corruption.
