“It is with deep sorrow and profound grief that the Ondo State Judiciary announces the passing of Hon. Justice B. F. Adeyeye, a distinguished jurist and serving Judge of High Court 5, Akure. Justice Adeyeye departed this earthly realm on Thursday, March 12, 2026,” the statement read.

Justice Adeyeye was widely respected for his integrity, wisdom, and dedication to justice. Throughout his tenure, he was known for his commitment to fairness, equity, and the rule of law, earning admiration from colleagues, legal practitioners, and the public for his humility, erudition, and impartiality.

The Ondo State Judiciary described his death as a major loss to both the judicial system and the people of Ondo State and Nigeria, highlighting his lasting contributions to the growth of the judiciary and the advancement of justice.

“On behalf of the judges, magistrates, and staff of the Ondo State Judiciary, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Hon. Justice B. F. Adeyeye. We pray that Almighty God grants them the strength to bear this irreparable loss and that the soul of our departed brother rests in perfect peace,” the statement added.

Justice Adeyeye was sworn in as a judge on September 8, 2011. Born on January 16, 1961, he previously founded the law firm Fola Adeyeye & Co. in Okitipupa before his appointment to the bench.

President Tinubu has given full backing for the implementation of the ₦68.32 trillion 2026 budget after signing the Appropriation Bill passed by the National Assembly into law.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

He also approved an amendment extending the lifespan of the 2025 budget from March 31 to June 30, 2026, to ensure completion of ongoing capital projects nationwide.

Under the 2026 fiscal plan, ₦4.799 trillion is set aside for statutory transfers, ₦15.8 trillion for debt servicing, ₦15.4 trillion for recurrent spending, while ₦32.2 trillion goes to capital projects—about half of the total budget.

The focus, according to the administration, is on infrastructure development, security, and growth-driven investments aimed at improving living standards.
