:Actor Alapini Claims Some In Aso Rock Fear Secrets Tinubu Knows May Be Exposed.

Veteran Nollywood actor Ganiyu Nafiu, popularly known as Alapini Osa, has alleged that some individuals within Aso Rock are working against President Bola Tinubu despite his efforts to improve the country.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Speaking in an interview with fellow actor Kunle Afod, Alapini described such individuals as dangerous forces within the presidency, likening them to “tigers and cobras in the forest.”

According to him, some of those around the seat of power are uncomfortable with Tinubu’s leadership because they fear that certain secrets he possesses could be exposed if he succeeds in solving the nation’s problems.

“There are many people in Aso Rock who do not want Nigeria’s solutions to come from Tinubu because they are afraid the secrets he knows may be revealed,” he said.

Alapini noted that the president’s style of governance reflects strategic thinking and experience, adding that some of the challenges currently faced by Nigerians are linked to resistance from certain powerful interests.

“The way he governs requires wisdom and strategy. Without applying such knowledge, it would be impossible for him to achieve anything before leaving office. Ultimately, it is God who determines the affairs of men,” he stated.

He further expressed belief that Tinubu’s presidency serves a purpose for the country.

“If God did not have a plan for Nigeria through him, he would not have become president. I believe he was chosen to accomplish something and he is already working towards that goal,” the actor added.

Comparing the current administration with previous governments, Alapini argued that some former leaders focused primarily on their own regions, which he said created difficulties for people from other parts of the country.

Defending Tinubu further, the actor stressed that the president was already wealthy and well-known before assuming office.

“What exactly would he still be looking for—money or fame? He already has both. Anyone who is fair-minded can see that he wants to govern the country well,” he said.

Alapini, however, acknowledged that the political environment within Aso Rock is complex and filled with powerful interests.

“Aso Rock is like a forest filled with lions, tigers and cobras. It takes a brave hunter to enter such a place and succeed,” he concluded.

reports that the party made its position known during an emergency press conference in Ilorin on Friday, describing the development as politically motivated and unjust.

PDP spokesman, Comrade Olushola Adewara, said the alleged plan to reopen the case amounts to an attempt to politicise a matter that has already been concluded by the courts.

He alleged that the move was targeted at dragging Saraki into a case in which, according to him, legal authorities had previously found no evidence linking him to the incident.

Adewara referenced earlier legal opinions from the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation, which reportedly stated that Saraki was not connected to the robbery case.

The party insisted that suspects in the case had already been prosecuted and convicted, with judgments upheld at appellate levels, while the matter is currently before the Supreme Court.

PDP urged Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to focus on governance rather than what it described as attempts to revive old political narratives.

It also called on security agencies to monitor the situation closely, warning that such actions could heighten political tension in the state.

The party further appealed to residents, especially families of victims in Offa, not to allow their pain to be used for political purposes.

He said: “I will be running for governor in the 2027 governorship election. I have come to plead with you to set up a small committee… to determine how we can collaborate to make this happen.”

He also questioned whether Ogun State would experience a “coronation” or a competitive election process, urging stakeholders to allow open political contest.

The PDP chieftain noted that Ogun West’s long-standing exclusion from producing a governor is a legitimate grievance, but stressed that aspirations must still be tested through competition.
