Iran: ‘He Was Upset a Black Man Was President Before Him’ – Keshi Gives Reason For Trump’s Actions.

Former Nigerian diplomat, Ambassador Joe Keshi, has shared his view on why U.S. President Donald Trump initiated the ongoing conflict with Iran.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Keshi noted that the nuclear deal signed by former President Barack Obama with Iran was functioning effectively until Trump canceled it five years ago during his first term. He suggested that Trump’s motivation may have been rooted in personal resentment, as he reportedly could not accept that a Black man had become U.S. President before him and was determined to undo Obama’s accomplishments.

Speaking on Arise News, Keshi said:

“In my view, the world’s current state is a result of the irresponsibility of global powers, who now act as if their power gives them the right to do anything within the international system. Russia is attacking Ukraine, and today the United States and Israel are pursuing long-held objectives.”

He continued:

“The current situation in the Middle East can be traced to one individual: the President of the United States. Four or five years ago, he canceled the Iran nuclear deal, which was working well. The International Atomic Energy Agency had confirmed Iran’s compliance. But Trump canceled it for two reasons: Israel’s pressure—Netanyahu is a close ally—and his personal grievance over a Black man becoming president before him. Anything Obama did, he was prepared to undo.”

Keshi further argued that U.S. and Israeli rhetoric about Iran’s nuclear ambitions is misleading. He noted that Trump had claimed last year that Iran’s nuclear development had been destroyed, leaving nothing to be done except speculation about rebuilding. Yet, the recent attacks targeted Iranian leaders to enforce regime change, despite America’s previous failed attempts in countries such as Afghanistan, Libya, and Iraq.

“Trump has even called on the Iranian people to take over their country,” Keshi said. “But how are Iranians supposed to do that? This shows a lack of planning for post-war governance, repeating a pattern of miscalculations that could lead to more destruction.”

He stressed that Iran posed no direct threat to the United States, adding:

“The real driver has been Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu, who has long sought to confront Iran. That is exactly what we are seeing today.”

As previously reported, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed on Saturday in a major U.S.-Israeli strike targeting Iranian leadership in Tehran. The attack also killed Khamenei’s daughter, grandchild, daughter-in-law, and son-in-law.

The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that seven senior Iranian defence officials were eliminated, including Ali Shamkhani, a key advisor to Khamenei, and General Mohammad Pakpour, head of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards.

Gbenjo’s warning comes amid growing controversy surrounding the late singer’s death and burial arrangements, with reports of disagreements among members of his family.

The gospel singer spoke on Tuesday during a night of tributes held in honour of Toluwanisings in Ibadan, Oyo State. He warned against allowing the situation to degenerate into a controversy similar to the one that followed the death of Nigerian singer Mohbad.

Describing the deceased as a devoted Christian and a genuine servant of God, Gbenjo said Toluwanisings was passionate about his faith and had a good relationship with people.

He urged the public to stop fuelling unnecessary controversy over the late singer’s death, particularly through social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.

“You can never see Toluwani in the midst of jobless people. He had a good heart. He was a friend to everybody. He served the Lord with all his heart. Don’t turn Toluwani into Mohbad. That madness on TikTok and Instagram must stop. If you are jobless, go and look for a job,” Gbenjo said.
