2027: APC Sets Chairmanship Form At ₦10M, Excludes Ekiti and Other States From Congresses.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has set the cost of the expression of interest form for the position of National Chairman at ₦10 million as it ramps up preparations for the 2027 general elections.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The party disclosed this on Tuesday via its verified handle, announcing the sale of forms for various party positions nationwide.

According to the APC, expression of interest forms for all national positions cost ₦100,000, while aspirants for National Chairman, Deputy National Chairmen, and National Secretaries are required to pay ₦10 million and ₦7.5 million respectively.

Female aspirants, youths, and persons with disabilities will pay the full cost of the forms but only 50% of the prescribed nomination fees for each position.

The party also stated that zoning of offices among states in the National Working Committee remains in force, and that state and senatorial executives’ congresses will be held alongside state congresses.

Four States, FCT Excluded

Ekiti, Osun, Rivers, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) will be excluded from ward, local government, and state congresses. However, they will still elect three delegates each to the party’s national convention.

All forms will be filled electronically, with access granted upon payment verification and validation by the APC National Secretariat. The party directed that all payments must be made in full directly into designated APC bank accounts.

The APC also shared a detailed schedule of congress events to guide aspirants and party members.

According to the FCT Police Command spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, the inspection is part of proactive measures to ensure a smooth, peaceful, and hitch-free conduct of the ongoing examinations.
