Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a hike in petrol prices across Nigeria following the end of the festive period.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The company stated on Monday evening that the gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) has been raised from ₦699 per litre to ₦799 per litre, placing the estimated pump price at around ₦839 per litre at MRS filling stations nationwide.

The refinery explained that the adjustment reflects a return to normal market conditions after temporary price support measures were introduced during the holiday season to ease the financial burden on consumers.

“This earlier price cut was only temporary, aimed at helping Nigerians manage festive expenses,” the company noted.

Dangote Petroleum added that similar interventions have been made in past festive seasons, including covering logistics costs in 2024 and lowering petrol prices in 2025 to make fuel more affordable and stabilize the market.

The refinery also expressed concern that some filling stations did not fully pass the reduced prices to consumers during the intervention, limiting the relief intended for motorists and households.

Dangote Petroleum reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring steady fuel supply, price stability, and energy security across the country.
