Naija News reports that Tiwa was abroad at the time, but Jamil reached out to her for help in arranging the meeting.

The singer later shared a photo of her son with the US-based streamer, along with a snippet of their chat, in which Jamil pleaded for her assistance while she was away in Davos.

Tiwa also joked about the stress involved in making it happen and thanked friends and event organisers who helped facilitate the encounter.

She wrote: “Please, mommy, I know you can make me meet @IShowSpeed and I’m all the way in Davos…” adding with a laugh, “Omo see stress o. Thank you @shankcomics, @manlikescoop, @olakunbi.o, @bizzleosikoya, and @boldandbigevent.”

IShowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr., is currently touring several African countries as part of his Speed Does Africa tour, sharing his experiences live on YouTube and Twitch.

His visit to Nigeria drew large crowds as fans followed him to markets, tourist attractions, and food centres. During his stop in Lagos, the streamer also celebrated his 21st birthday and reaching 50 million subscribers on YouTube, a significant milestone in his online career.

The award-winning artiste made the revelation in the lyrics of his new song Moviestar, a collaboration with French pianist Sofiane Pamart.
