The Federal Government has formally initiated a criminal case against Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, the alleged leader of a fraudulent organization known as the Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC). Alongside two accomplices who remain at large, Adeyemi faces an eight-count charge including forgery, conspiracy, and impersonation. Court documents reveal that the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, is among 11 witnesses expected to testify for the prosecution.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Allegations of Fraud and Forgery Prosecutors claim the defendants fabricated official presidential documents to legitimize their fictitious agency between 2024 and 2025. According to the charge sheet, Adeyemi specifically allegedly forged an appointment letter that falsely bore the signature of Femi Gbajabiamila and was attributed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Furthermore, investigators from the Inspector-General of Police Monitoring Unit report that these documents utilized fraudulent seals, reference numbers, and the presidential insignia to deceive victims. The investigation was triggered by a formal petition submitted by the Office of the Chief of Staff after they became aware that individuals were forging appointment letters in their name.

Operations and Arrest The police investigation suggests that Adeyemi acted as the Director-General of the PFIPC, conducting meetings with both local and foreign nationals under that guise. In his capacity as the purported head of the agency, he allegedly contacted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to request diplomatic assistance and Note Verbales for visa applications to the United States.

Following an intelligence-led operation, Adeyemi was arrested on October 27, 2025. Subsequent searches of his home and office in Suleja, Niger State, uncovered various incriminating items, including forged letterheads and documents featuring presidential insignia. While Adeyemi claimed that a man named Dolapo Babatunde Tanimola helped him obtain the forged appointment letter, police confirmed that Tanimola has since passed away following a fire incident in Abuja.
