Armed bandits attacked commuters on Friday along the Danjibga–Kuncin Kalgo Road in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State, abducting all passengers and setting two vehicles on fire. Acting on directives from the Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Balarabe Maikaba, joint teams of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) experts from the Police and Military combed the highway to ensure no additional explosives were planted.
