Giadom stated that no politician, including Governor Siminalayi Fubara, can secure electoral success in Gokana Local Government Area without Wike’s endorsement. He made the assertion while speaking during Wike’s thank-you visit to the people of Gokana, where he described the area as a stronghold firmly loyal to Wike and President Bola Tinubu.

Emphasizing Wike’s influence, Giadom assured that the people of Gokana remain unwavering in their support, describing the community as a no-go area for any other political contender. He stressed that any political ambition within the area must align with Wike’s leadership.

Echoing similar sentiments, former Senator Magnus Abe affirmed that the loyalty of the Ogoni people remains with Wike and President Tinubu, praising Wike’s unifying leadership style. Abe stated that following Wike’s direction guarantees political success and assured that the people of Gokana are firmly committed to Tinubu’s leadership without the need for further campaign visits.

The Deputy Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Dumle Maol, and the Chairman of Gokana Local Council, Confidence Deko, also pledged total loyalty to Wike, assuring him of the community’s readiness to follow his political direction when elections approach.

Responding, Wike expressed gratitude for the warm reception, explaining that his visit was to appreciate the people for their longstanding support and unity. He commended the community for standing together in support of President Tinubu and noted that members of both the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and APC in Rivers State are working collectively under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Sowore further claimed that it was the AAC’s unwavering position at the Nigerian Bar Association Annual General Conference in Port Harcourt that actually rattled the Tinubu government, rather than any actions from Atiku’s camp.
