“Betrayal Never Pays” — Kwankwaso Issues Stern Warning To NNPP Defectors.
According to Nivo News, former Kano State governor and national leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso, has cautioned party members allegedly planning to defect that political betrayal has never yielded lasting success in Nigeria.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Speaking to supporters in Kano amid rising speculation over possible defections within the party, Kwankwaso stressed that abandoning the NNPP would ultimately lead to political failure. His remarks came against the backdrop of reports suggesting that some members of the Kwankwasiyya Movement were considering a move to the All Progressives Congress in the belief that it could enhance their principal’s presidential prospects.
While a representative of the movement had earlier described the planned defection as being in the best interest of Kano State, Kwankwaso firmly disagreed, warning that history offered clear lessons about the dangers of disloyalty. He maintained that individuals who had betrayed political movements in the past may have enjoyed brief periods of relevance but eventually faded into obscurity.
The NNPP leader urged his followers to remain united and committed to the party’s ideology, advising them to learn from past political experiences rather than repeat costly mistakes. He called on members to work together as one family and resist the temptation to abandon the platform that brought them together.
