‘Life Goes On’ – Nigerians React To Reports Of Mohbad’s Widow Giving Birth.
Rumours surrounding Wunmi, the widow of the late singer Mohbad, have sparked outrage and confusion on social media, following claims that she recently gave birth nearly two years after her husband’s death.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
According to Nivo News, the speculation emerged roughly a month after Mohbad’s family prohibited Wunmi from using the late singer’s surname. The viral claims, which circulated on X, have drawn widespread attention and criticism, particularly given that Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, and his body reportedly remains in the morgue.
The development has reignited calls for a DNA test to confirm the paternity of Liam, the couple’s son, who was five months old at the time of Mohbad’s death. Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, had previously requested a DNA test following allegations of infidelity against Wunmi.
Social media users have reacted with disbelief and mixed opinions. Actor Stanley Ontop wrote on Instagram, “Mohbad died in 2023. His wife gives birth in 2025? What God cannot do does not exist! Life goes on. Anyways, congratulations to Mohbad’s wife.” Other users questioned the credibility of the rumours, suggesting the story could be a hoax or an attempt to gain online engagement.
While some expressed outrage at the alleged circumstances, others noted that life continues despite personal loss and that Wunmi’s actions, if true, reflect her moving forward after tragedy.
