Nigerian entertainer Slimcase has issued an apology to the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) for featuring the agency’s official uniform and a waste truck in one of his online skit videos without prior authorization.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

According to reports, Slimcase, whose real name is Oluwafemi Oladipo, stated that the skit was created to celebrate the dignity of labour, highlighting the importance and value of every profession, including waste management. He emphasized that the video was his idea and was never intended to ridicule, misrepresent, or embarrass LAWMA, its staff, or the Lagos State Government.

The artist confirmed that the video was removed from all platforms on December 8, 2025, shortly after concerns were raised, and clarified that no adapted versions are currently in circulation. Slimcase also reassured the public that LAWMA did not endorse or participate in the content.

Expressing his respect for LAWMA’s work in keeping Lagos clean, Slimcase pledged to exercise greater caution in his future creative projects. He took full responsibility for the oversight and reiterated that his intention was to promote respect for all professions.

The case was scheduled to be heard at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. However, the hearing could not proceed as planned because the charge sheet was not available.

The court has rescheduled the plea and trial preparation hearing for February 8, 2027, at which point Poco Lee is expected to enter a plea of guilty or not guilty. According to reports, the main trial is set to begin on March 8, 2027.

Poco Lee previously appeared before the same court on September 11, 2026, at which time he was granted bail.

Following his release on bail, Poco Lee spoke about his experience during a video call with social commentator VeryDarkMan. He maintained his innocence regarding the sexual allegations against him, stating his conscience is clear. He expressed that his primary concern during his time in custody was the welfare of his associates and the disruption to their business activities.

He said, “I was just being myself. God sees my heart. My only worries were about my people. Jago could not do anything business, and I didn’t want to stress anyone. If I was inside there and I did what I was accused of, I would have felt I was paying for my sins, but since I knew I didn’t do what I was accused of, my mind is pure.”
