Maria Sol Messi, the sister of football icon Lionel Messi, has been hospitalised after being involved in a serious car accident in Miami, an incident that has forced the postponement of her planned wedding.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

According to Nivo News, reports from Argentina revealed that the 32-year-old sustained multiple injuries after losing control of her vehicle and crashing into a wall. Medical assessments indicated that she suffered burns as well as fractures to her spine, raising immediate concern about her condition.

An Argentine journalist, Angel de Brito, provided updates on a US television programme, confirming that Maria Sol is out of danger but remains in recovery. He disclosed that her wedding, which was scheduled to hold in Rosario, Argentina, on January 3, has been suspended to allow her focus on healing.

Further information suggested that her injuries include displaced vertebrae, a condition that typically requires an extended period of rehabilitation. She has since returned to Rosario, where she is undergoing treatment and recovery under medical supervision.

Her mother, Celia Cuccittini, later confirmed that Maria Sol sustained fractures to two vertebrae, her heel and her wrist. It was also revealed that the accident may have occurred after she briefly lost consciousness while driving, leading to the collision.

Although details surrounding the crash remain varied, the family has reassured the public that her injuries, while serious, are not life-threatening. Consequently, her wedding to Julian “Tuli” Arellano, a youth team coach with Inter Miami, has been postponed indefinitely.

Despite her close connection to one of football’s biggest stars, Maria Sol has largely kept a private life. She is a fashion designer and entrepreneur and previously worked as a brand manager for The Messi Store, a clothing line established by her brother in collaboration with Virginia Hilfiger.

Three senior civil servants, who were transferred from the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation (OAGF) to the alleged Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), have reported to investigators that they were assigned no responsibilities at the office. Although the Federal Government maintains it never established the PFIPC nor appointed Adeniyi Adeyemi as its Director-General, Adeyemi faces an eight-count charge of forgery and impersonation for allegedly claiming those roles.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

According to police and court records:

  • Adeyemi allegedly sent a request to the Accountant-General on April 4, 2025, for the deployment of accounting and auditing staff.

  • On August 28, 2025, the OAGF posted three officials—Ojo Victor, Omeh Amarachukwu, and Wakili Saidu—to the agency.

  • Upon reporting for duty on September 8, 2025, the three officers were provided an open office space but were never given formal documentation, job descriptions, or work assignments.

  • The officials stated they had never heard of the PFIPC prior to their deployment.

  • Due to the total lack of work, the officers reported to the office only intermittently, ranging from once a week to three times a week, merely to make an appearance.

While investigators allege that Adeyemi forged government letterheads and appointment documents to secure the staff deployment, Adeyemi has denied these allegations, claiming he is being targeted by the Presidency.
