Speaking during an interview on Television Continental’s Journalist Hangout on Monday, Governor Sanwo-Olu said he believes Nigerians will ultimately reward President Tinubu with a second term based on what he described as the visible impact of the administration’s reforms on governance and infrastructure nationwide.

The governor stated that President Tinubu has largely delivered on key promises made to Nigerians, adding that the Renewed Hope Agenda has translated into measurable progress across several sectors of the economy. He noted that reforms introduced by the administration have strengthened revenue generation at both the federal and subnational levels, enabling governments to execute more development projects.

Sanwo-Olu maintained that improvements have been recorded in food prices, foreign direct investment inflows, and the growth of e-commerce, while also pointing to renewed interest from Nigerians in the diaspora who are increasingly returning to invest in the country. He said these developments reflect growing confidence in the direction of the Tinubu-led government.

While admitting that challenges remain, the Lagos governor described President Tinubu as resilient and committed, stressing that the president continues to put in his best efforts to address national issues. He also highlighted the expanding political support for the president, noting that the number of governors aligned with the ruling All Progressives Congress has increased significantly since the 2023 elections, which he described as an indicator of political stability and performance.

According to Nivo News, Sanwo-Olu further explained that enhanced revenue monitoring, improved compliance, and the blocking of financial leakages under the current administration have contributed to better funding for infrastructure and social development across states and local governments. He added that these reforms have strengthened the country’s socio-economic outlook and reinforced public trust in the government.

The governor concluded by reiterating his belief that Nigerians will vote to retain President Tinubu in 2027, saying the electorate can see tangible results from the administration’s policies and reforms.
