Osun 2026: APC Picks Oyebamiji As Consensus Governorship Candidate.

According to Nivo News, the affirmation followed the conclusion of the party’s governorship primary election held on Saturday in Osogbo, the state capital.
The outcome was formally announced by a former governorship aspirant of the party, Kunle Rasheed Adegoke, who disclosed that the decision was taken in line with the directive of the APC National Working Committee.
Adegoke explained that all other aspirants in the race unanimously agreed to step down in favour of Oyebamiji, paving the way for his emergence as the party’s consensus candidate.
He stated that, with the full consent of the aspirants, a motion was moved and adopted for Oyebamiji to fly the APC flag in the 2026 Osun governorship election, effectively sealing his candidacy.
