Responding bluntly, Regina said the emotional ordeal she endured has left her uninterested in another marital commitment, stressing that she remains “traumatized” by the entire institution of marriage. Her comment came after the fan asked whether she would consider marrying a man closer to her age, to which she replied, “Nopeee, traumatized with that institution.”

Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko married in 2019 and share two children. Over the years, the union drew widespread attention as controversies around their relationship intensified. In October, the actress released an emotional viral video in which she appeared in tears, alleging that her life in Nwoko’s household had become intolerable.

She accused him of manipulation, excessive control, and various forms of abuse that left her psychologically distressed. Ned Nwoko, however, rejected the accusations, claiming instead that Regina struggled with drugs and alcohol, which he said led to erratic behaviour, destruction of property, and assaults on staff. He insisted that she required rehabilitation.

Although Regina later admitted to drug use, she maintained that it did not justify the alleged mistreatment she suffered. She further claimed she was subjected to forced medical procedures, locked up, deprived of her phones, and given potent injections purportedly meant to undermine her credibility.

The actress also disclosed that their marriage may not have been legally formalised, as it was reportedly conducted only through traditional rites, making the legal separation process unclear. The conflict eventually drew in family members, with Regina’s brother accusing Nwoko of harassment and assault.
