Content creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has responded to TikTok’s recent restriction on night-time livestreaming in Nigeria, reassuring fans that the move will not impact his earnings. According to reports, TikTok notified eligible users of the restriction via an in-app notice on Sunday at midnight, preventing livestreaming during late hours as the platform strengthens content and safety measures.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Peller addressed the new rule in a video posted on Monday, emphasizing that his income is not solely dependent on TikTok gifts. He revealed that his brand endorsements, which often run into millions of naira, form a significant part of his earnings. He also noted that creators frequently give back to their fans through giveaways.

The influencer described TikTok as a powerful platform for young creators seeking rapid growth online, noting it offers more opportunities than other social media sites. However, he cautioned that smaller creators who rely on late-night livestreams for exposure and revenue may be disproportionately affected.

“I won’t go hungry because of this restriction,” Peller stated. “I am an ambassador to multiple brands, and none of my endorsements is less than N40 million. Many people will still grow on TikTok. Instagram cannot offer the same growth; you post a lot there before seeing results, but TikTok allows faster exposure.”
