Ekiti APC Launches Digital Membership Drive To Mobilize Support For President Tinubu.
According to Nivo News, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has launched a digital membership e-registration initiative aimed at strengthening the party’s organizational structure and mobilizing support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The program was officially flagged off during a Train-the-Trainers session in Ado Ekiti. APC State Chairman, Sola Elesin, emphasized that the e-registration would modernize the party’s membership records, ensure data accuracy, and provide a platform to engage a wider audience in support of the president’s policies.
Elesin explained that the move was inspired by the results of the last presidential election. “Before the election, we anticipated 50 million party members voting for our president, but only just over 11 million votes were recorded. This highlighted the need for accurate data on our actual membership,” he said. He added that the digital membership process would provide reliable data for planning and party activities.
Hon. Gold Adesola Adedayo, the state coordinator of the e-registration exercise, noted that the program is designed to enhance transparency, accountability, and service delivery within the party. He explained that the initiative aims to digitize existing records, making them accessible via mobile devices and allowing party members to verify their registration status.
Adedayo expressed confidence that a significant proportion of party members in Ekiti would participate. “We expect members across the 177 wards to register. I am hopeful that 70 to 80 percent of Ekiti people will become card-carrying APC members,” he said.
State Commissioner for Information, Hon. Taiwo Olatubosun, praised the initiative as essential for proper planning, documentation, and membership authentication. He noted that the process would not only demonstrate the party’s organizational credibility but also assist in mobilization for the 2026 governorship election and other internal party programs.
