According to Nivo News, Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has recounted a harrowing incident from 1987 in Kaduna, where he claimed that unknown individuals planted marijuana in his vehicle in an apparent attempt to incriminate him.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The cleric shared the story in a viral video while addressing his congregation, describing how the plot was uncovered through what he called a divinely guided discovery by his former driver, Clifford. Oyedepo explained that Clifford, upon returning from Katsina, insisted on cleaning the car that morning and discovered a freshly wrapped substance hidden beneath the car seat.

“He ran to me, shivering, and said, ‘See, see, see.’ I asked what it was, and he replied, ‘That’s one of the things my wife plants behind the house… This is wee-wee,’” Oyedepo recounted, adding that he had no knowledge of the substance or hard drugs in general.

The seriousness of the situation became apparent later that evening when police officers stopped his car for a search, only to inspect the exact spot where the marijuana had been planted. “I said, ‘Shame on you,’ and they apologized,” Oyedepo recalled. He suggested the officers might have been aware of the planted item and anticipated its presence in the car.

Reflecting on the incident, Oyedepo emphasized the role of divine protection in his life and warned that many innocent individuals fall victim to the schemes of the wicked. “No one can keep himself. We are kept by the power of God. There are many poor people in prison today who didn’t do anything. They just found themselves there by the scheming of the wicked,” he stated.

APC Fires Back at Adeleke Over ₦300bn LG Funds Allegation, Blames Governor for Salary Crisis....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The Osun State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has responded to claims by Governor Ademola Adeleke that local government officials under the party diverted about ₦300 billion meant for workers’ salaries.

Adeleke had made the allegation during a stakeholders’ meeting, accusing APC-controlled council officials of hijacking funds and forcing the state government to shoulder salary payments for local government workers, teachers, health staff, and pensioners for over a year.

He insisted he would not abandon workers, blaming the situation for delays in executing some state projects.

But in a statement, APC’s Director of Media and Information, Kola Olabisi, dismissed the claims, accusing the governor of misleading the public and shifting blame.

The party alleged that Adeleke was responsible for the salary issues, claiming he refused to release electronic payment vouchers and other financial documents needed for processing payments.

APC also said pension-related records, leave bonuses, cooperative deductions, and other financial data had not been made available despite repeated appeals, insisting that funds were properly accounted for and available for use if approved.

The party urged pensioners and workers to seek clarification, insisting the situation could be resolved if the governor allowed due process to take place.
