Relief in Niger: All 50 Abducted Schoolchildren Miraculously Escape From Captivity.
Fifty pupils abducted from St. Mary’s Private Catholic Primary and Secondary Schools in Papiri, Agwara Local Government Area of Niger State, have successfully escaped from their captors and reunited with their families, a development confirmed on Sunday by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The children, who were taken during a midnight raid on the school last week, reportedly regained their freedom between Friday and Saturday. However, they did not immediately return to the school after escaping.
According to authoritative updates obtained by Nivo News, the Niger State CAN Chairman and Catholic Bishop of Kontagora Diocese, Most Rev. Bulus Dauwa Yohanna, said the school administration confirmed the pupils’ escape after reaching out to their parents. He noted that the children, overwhelmed by fear and confusion, fled through the night and instinctively ran to their homes instead of returning to the school premises.
Yohanna further disclosed that school officials visited various homes to verify that the pupils had indeed returned safely.
