The tragic incident occurred on Sunday, November 2, 2025, nearly 45 years after his father’s death and just a few months following the passing of his elder brother, Pastor Kolade Akindayomi, who died in May.
Family and friends were reportedly devastated by the news, as Pastor Ifeoluwa was said to be in good health prior to his death. He had even chaired a wedding ceremony a day before the unfortunate incident.
Nivo News gathered that Pastor Ifeoluwa embarked on a prayer walk on Sunday morning at the RCCG Camp in Ogun State. Upon returning home and preparing for church service, he accidentally missed his step, fell, and hit his head on a sharp object. Despite efforts to rush him to the hospital, he was pronounced dead before medical help could arrive.
Until his demise, Pastor Ifeoluwa served as the Assistant Provincial Pastor of Ogun Province 5 of the RCCG and also ran a successful printing business. Sources close to the family disclosed that his wife and children, who reside in Canada, had repeatedly urged him to join them abroad, but he preferred to remain in Nigeria to oversee his business and fulfill his pastoral responsibilities.
It was further revealed that the cleric had recently completed the process of obtaining permanent residency in Canada and was making plans to reunite with his family before his sudden death.
