Chukwueze, on loan from AC Milan, came close to adding his name to the scoresheet on two occasions. In the 86th minute, he rattled the post following an intelligent setup from fellow Nigerian Alex Iwobi. Minutes later, he danced past three Wolves defenders and unleashed a curling strike that forced a brilliant fingertip save from the goalkeeper.

Former Super Eagles striker and 1994 AFCON winner, Efan Ekoku, who provided commentary for the Premier League world feed, praised Chukwueze’s lively display, describing his footwork as “silky” despite missing a golden opportunity to score.

With the winger now fully fit, he is expected to earn a call-up to the Super Eagles squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying playoff against Gabon.

Nollywood actor Daniel Etim Effiong has shared a deeply emotional story about a difficult period in his family’s history.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

He recounted how his father narrowly escaped death after being implicated in an alleged coup during Nigeria’s military era.

Speaking in an interview, the actor explained that the incident occurred while he was still an infant. His father, Colonel Moses Effiong, was arrested after being linked to a plot reportedly aimed at removing former Head of State Ibrahim Babangida from power.

According to him, the situation began when his father was informed of the alleged plan by a close colleague in the military. This left him in a tough position—whether to keep silent or report the information. However, when the plot was eventually uncovered, the colleague was arrested and later mentioned Colonel Effiong during interrogation.
