APC Fires Back At Atiku’s Camp, Says Tinubu Leads With Law, Not Emotion.
According to Nivo News, the Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has defended President Bola Tinubu, insisting that his administration’s decisions are guided by due process and national interest, not by emotion or social media theatrics.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
This statement came in reaction to criticism from Phrank Shaibu, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who accused the president of inconsistency over the recent review of the presidential pardon list. Shaibu had described the move as a “pardon U-turn,” alleging that the Tinubu administration acts before thinking.
Responding to the claim, the spokesperson of the APC Lagos Chapter, Mogaji Seye Oladejo, dismissed Atiku’s camp’s comments as “a cocktail of ignorance, frustration, and political bitterness from a camp desperate for attention.”
Oladejo stated that President Tinubu’s leadership remains focused on strengthening democratic institutions and upholding the rule of law. He said the opposition’s narrative reflects “infantile politics” driven by resentment rather than substance.
He noted that in advanced democracies, reviewing policies or decisions demonstrates credible leadership and institutional maturity, not weakness. Oladejo also urged Nigerians to disregard what he termed the “latest media convulsions” from Atiku’s allies, assuring that Tinubu would continue to govern with discipline, courage, and clarity of purpose.
He concluded that Nigeria is progressing under the current administration and that no amount of “political tantrums” from the opposition will alter that reality.
