BAT Group Unveils Leadership Blueprint To Immortalize Tinubu’s Legacy.

According to Nivo News, the initiative, spearheaded by Bamidele Atoyebi, Convener of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) Ideological Group, was officially launched in Lagos with the aim of promoting the President’s values and principles among Nigerians.
Atoyebi described President Tinubu as “an enigma and an institution” whose leadership style, marked by generosity, humility, courage, and service, deserves in-depth study and emulation. He explained that the handbook serves as a blueprint for nurturing a new generation of leaders who reflect Tinubu’s spirit of progressivism and commitment to national development.
Highlighting some of the President’s notable achievements, Atoyebi cited the removal of fuel subsidy, stabilization of foreign exchange, infrastructural expansion, prudent debt management, and the introduction of student loans as pivotal reforms that have restored confidence in Nigeria’s governance trajectory.
He emphasized that the BAT Ideological Group is not merely a political support platform but a transformative movement designed to instill Tinubu’s leadership ethos in young Nigerians. The group, he noted, includes distinguished professionals from diverse sectors — professors, engineers, and medical experts — who are committed to propagating the President’s ideology nationwide.
Atoyebi revealed that the group already has coordinators in most states across the federation and has commenced grassroots sensitization on the President’s vision for the country. He reiterated that their ultimate mission is to preserve Tinubu’s legacy beyond his tenure by raising leaders who embody his principles of generosity, service, and integrity.
“Tinubu is a leader who believes in humanity, progress, and good governance. He is courageous, principled, and selfless — qualities Nigeria desperately needs to move forward,” Atoyebi remarked. “With this handbook, we are building a generation that truly understands who Bola Ahmed Tinubu is and what he stands for.”

According to reports, Yusuf was adopted unopposed after a stakeholders’ meeting held in Katsina on April 28. The consensus decision was announced by the Chairman of the committee for Daura Zone, Ahmed Dangiwa, following consultations among party leaders and key stakeholders in the area. Reacting to the development, APC Chairman of Mai’adua Local Government, Mannir Musa, urged party members to accept the outcome in good faith. He said, “We should all work together for the unity and progress of the party and our people.” Musa also appealed to Governor Dikko Radda to extend support to aspirants who did not secure tickets. He further revealed that other positions were also filled through consensus, including Nasir Yahaya for the Daura senatorial district and Mustapha Musa for the Mai’adua constituency seat in the Katsina State House of Assembly. In his reaction, Yusuf Buhari expressed gratitude to party members for their confidence and support. He pledged to deliver effective and quality representation to his constituents if elected in the 2027 general elections.

The update, according to reports, follows the party’s national convention held in Abuja. The development comes amid earlier concerns over leadership tussles within the party, as political groups intensify preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections. A review of INEC’s portal also shows Baba-Ahmed alongside other members of the National Working Committee (NWC). Other officials recognised include Kanu Sunday Uchenna as National Secretary, Bayawo Yunusa Abdullahi as National Treasurer, Chuka Patrick as National Financial Secretary, and Vincent Danladi Okudu as National Legal Adviser. Reacting to the update, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Muhammed Bello Ishaq, welcomed the recognition and dismissed suggestions of internal crisis. He said, “The update signifies INEC’s recognition of PRP’s new leadership following the successful convention.” He further added, “It is important to categorically state that there is no such thing as a faction within the PRP; the claims are baseless.” During the convention, Baba-Ahmed was elected alongside other national officers, including Mallam Buhari Haruna as Deputy National Chairman (North) and Haruna Nanven as National Organising Secretary. The party also inaugurated zonal representatives across various regions of the country.
