Religion continues to shape the moral compass, culture, and collective consciousness of societies around the world. A recent 2025 analysis conducted by MyCross, as reported by Nivo News, has unveiled the ten most popular and influential religions globally, ranking them based on their visibility both on social media and across online platforms.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The comprehensive study evaluated five major visibility indicators — global religious demographics, monthly Google search queries, Instagram hashtags, Google searches related to sacred texts, and a YouTube Visibility Index. These metrics were combined to determine which faiths command the strongest global presence in the digital era.

According to Nivo News, Islam emerged as the most dominant religion online in 2025. The faith recorded over 36 million monthly Google searches on Islamic teachings, alongside 9.4 million Instagram posts showcasing daily prayers and Ramadan moments. On YouTube, Islamic content maintains a commanding presence with videos covering Quranic interpretations, historical documentaries, and educational discussions on faith.

Christianity followed closely as the second most influential religion. The study revealed that 21 million people search for Christian-related topics every month, while Instagram hosts more than 11 million posts featuring church activities and spiritual reflections. The Bible continues to be the most widely studied religious text globally, attracting 47 million online searches each month.

Hinduism ranked third, boasting over a billion adherents worldwide and about 3.4 million monthly online searches related to its traditions and beliefs. Hindu communities have also established a significant presence on YouTube, where content about festivals, yoga, and spirituality flourishes. Instagram mirrors this with over 200,000 posts highlighting Hindu festivals and temple ceremonies.

Buddhism secured the fourth position, with 530 million global followers. It records about 7.7 million monthly online searches, while Instagram features over 436,000 posts centered on meditation and mindfulness. Sikhism followed in fifth place, amassing 5.7 million monthly searches and nearly two million Instagram posts celebrating Sikh culture, attire, and religious events.

Judaism ranked sixth, with 14.8 million adherents and nearly five million monthly online inquiries about Jewish holidays and customs. The Torah and related Jewish texts generate over 434,000 monthly searches, while one million Instagram photos capture significant cultural and religious moments.

In seventh place is Jainism, which draws nearly one million monthly learners online and boasts 1.3 million Instagram posts highlighting its principles of peace and non-violence. Spiritism and Spiritualism jointly took the eighth spot, engaging 14.8 million global followers. Their online communities feature over 500,000 photos and extensive discussions on spirituality, healing, and the afterlife.

Shintō, Japan’s native religion, came ninth with 2.7 million followers and about 500,000 Instagram posts showcasing shrine visits, purification rituals, and scenic torii gates. Zoroastrianism completed the list at tenth place, with just 205,000 adherents but over 1.1 million monthly Google searches — a striking testament to global curiosity about one of the world’s oldest religions.

The report underscores how religion has evolved beyond traditional worship spaces into digital platforms, where millions engage daily with faith-based content — reflecting both devotion and the changing face of spirituality in the modern world.

“YOU WILL NEVER SEE YOUR MONEY AGAIN!” Ubi Franklin Drops A Bombshell On The Brutal Financial Reality Of The Music Industry!.

Published

Prominent music executive Ubi Franklin has opened up about the daunting financial realities of the industry during his appearance on the EC podcast, labeling the music business as the single riskiest venture he has ever undertaken. Franklin revealed that pushing a single track to the public can easily demand an investment of up to ₦100 million, noting that dropping the song is merely the starting line.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

According to him, maintaining momentum requires heavy spending long after release—even if a track successfully goes viral on TikTok—because modern music consumers have exceptionally short attention spans and can lose interest overnight. Highlighting the volatile nature of the industry, Franklin warned that sinking massive amounts of capital into a song offers zero guarantee of a financial return, making it an intensely unpredictable gamble for executives and investors alike.

Reflecting on the grueling economics of the trade, Franklin stated: “Music is the riskiest business I’ve ever done. You need ₦100m to promote one song. Even if TikTok carries it, you still need money to keep it on the charts because people have short attention spans, and there’s no guarantee you’ll get your money back.”

According to Best of Nollywood (BON) CEO and movie producer Seun Oloketuyi, the reality star was picked up at her Ajah residence on Sunday morning after allegedly ignoring three separate police invitations issued by the Nigeria Police National Cyber Crime Centre (NPF-NCCC) between May and August 2026. “HE HAD NEVER TREATED ME THAT WAY”: Hanga Breaks Silence On The Toxic Fallout With Kwankwaso.

Senator Rufai Sani Hanga (Kano Central) has detailed the breakdown of his political relationship with Rabiu Kwankwaso, the NDC vice-presidential candidate, in an interview with Dan’uwa Rano TV.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The rift largely stemmed from Hanga’s massive constituency empowerment program, where he distributed vehicles, rice, fertilizers, and other items. According to Hanga, Kwankwaso grew unhappy with his rising public profile and the scale of the initiatives. Tensions peaked when Hanga hosted the distribution event at a venue associated with Kwankwaso; though the former governor initially agreed to attend, he arrived looking displeased, left for prayers, and never returned.

Hanga recounted that Kwankwaso later confronted him, complaining that the event was designed to court public praise and dismissing the small portion of items allocated to him. Despite Hanga apologizing, he felt deeply disrespected—especially after previous instances where Kwankwaso pressured him to allocate empowerment resources outside his senatorial district.

Concluding that mutual respect had vanished and that Kwankwaso’s dissatisfaction ultimately cost him his return ticket, Hanga remarked, “He has treated others this way, but he had never done it to me until that moment.”
