Kane’s Hunger, Not Coaching, Behind His Explosive Form – Kompany Declares.
Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany has praised Harry Kane’s incredible form this season, attributing it to the English striker’s relentless hunger and determination rather than coaching influence or tactical changes.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
According to Nivo News, Kane has been in sensational form, scoring 11 goals in just six Bundesliga games and a total of 18 across all competitions. His scoring prowess has been instrumental in Bayern Munich’s ten-match winning streak, keeping their unbeaten run intact both domestically and in Europe.
The England captain continued his hot streak on international duty, netting twice in the Three Lions’ dominant 5-0 win over Latvia, a result that secured England’s place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
When asked about Kane’s remarks crediting him for his improvement, Kompany humbly dismissed the praise, saying the striker’s progress came from within. “He has unlocked that next level himself,” the Belgian coach told reporters ahead of Bayern’s Bundesliga showdown with Borussia Dortmund.
“He has always done it throughout his career. His development is a matter of mentality. He works hard every year. Maybe not having won titles earlier in his career helped him maintain that hunger young players usually have,” Kompany said.
Kane, regarded as one of the finest forwards of his generation, collected numerous individual accolades during his time at Tottenham Hotspur but only lifted his first major trophy last season after joining Bayern and winning the Bundesliga title.
“You cannot develop such a player further,” Kompany added. “He has to want it.”
The Bayern boss will once again rely on Kane’s sharp finishing when his side faces Borussia Dortmund in a highly anticipated clash that could influence the early title race. Dortmund, currently second and four points adrift, have conceded only once in their last five league outings and remain unbeaten in all competitions.
“It’s first against second, both teams unbeaten,” Kompany noted. “It’s clear why this game is getting so much attention. It’s two heavyweights going head-to-head.”
Kompany also offered a positive update on Alphonso Davies, who has been recovering from a serious knee injury. The 23-year-old defender, initially expected to return in January, may make an earlier comeback.
“I had hoped he would be back at the beginning of January,” Kompany said. “But as things stand, he might return a bit earlier. If he can play a few games in December, it means everyone has done a wonderful job. His body just needs to adapt to the workload week by week. If progress continues, a very fit Alphonso should be back in December.”

In his inaugural address, Oyedele pledged to consolidate ongoing reforms while delivering measurable economic outcomes.
He said his administration would prioritise fiscal discipline, transparency, and improved performance across key sectors of the economy.
He also expressed his readiness to work closely with staff of the ministry to strengthen efficiency and service delivery.
Oyedele commended his predecessor, Wale Edun, for his role in advancing Nigeria’s economic reform agenda, and thanked President Tinubu for entrusting him with the responsibility.
The Permanent Secretary, Raymond Omachi, alongside the Permanent Secretary (Special Duties), Mohammed Danjuma, welcomed the new minister and assured him of the full support and cooperation of the ministry’s workforce.
