“From Love To Violence: Baba Lanko Opens Up About Turbulent Union With ‘Mama No Network’”
Veteran Nollywood actor, Adeola Shoremi, popularly known as Baba Lanko, has revealed shocking details about his failed marriage to comic colleague Atinuke Kazeem, famously known as ‘Mama No Network.’....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The duo tied the knot in 2014 in a star-studded ceremony featuring performances by Fuji music legend Pasuma, but their marriage reportedly collapsed the following year. In a recent interview, Baba Lanko described his ex-wife as violent, alleging that their relationship was plagued by repeated episodes of abuse.
The actor recounted a particularly harrowing incident in which he claims his former spouse attacked him with a cutlass, leaving permanent injuries to his head and hand. “My ex-wife is a devil. She once attacked me with a cutlass, injuring my head and hand, which left my hand imbalanced. This finger injury I sustained left it bent due to repeated fights with her,” he said.
On a brighter note, Baba Lanko spoke about his current marriage, revealing that ‘Mama No Network’ indirectly played a role in introducing him to his present wife. He explained that an apprentice brought to him by his ex-wife to learn theatre arts eventually became his spouse. “The apprentice who was brought to me by my ex-wife is now my wife, and she has given birth to four children. We’re living fine,” he added.
