TikTok sensation Khaby Lame has opened up about why he consistently declines endorsement offers from alcohol brands. Lame, renowned globally for his distinctive comedic style, revealed that he frequently receives proposals from companies aiming to promote alcoholic products but has never agreed to any. He explained that being a practicing Muslim is a central factor in his refusal to associate his personal brand with alcohol.
Beyond his faith, the influencer highlighted the responsibility he feels toward his millions of followers, many of whom are children and teenagers. He emphasized that his choices are guided by a desire to maintain a positive and responsible image, avoiding any promotion of habits that could encourage underage drinking.
He said: “First of all, I’m a Muslim, and I don’t want to promote alcohol. Whenever they contact me, I make sure I’m promoting something that is not alcohol. I get a lot of offers from alcohol brands, but I always say no. I also have a lot of kids that follow me, and I don’t want them to start drinking. That’s why I always choose things that keep my image as clean as possible.”
