Singer Lojay Clears The Air On Relationship With Governor’s Daughter

In a recent interview, the “Falling” crooner dismissed speculation that he is romantically involved with Folashade, who is also a cousin to Afrobeats star Davido. Lojay described her as one of his closest friends and a trusted member of his inner circle, but firmly stated that there is no romantic connection between them.
The singer further revealed that he is currently not ready to pursue any relationship, emphasizing the importance of personal growth and healing from past experiences. He explained that his decision to remain single has been misunderstood by some as a sign of unseriousness, but stressed that his focus is on self-development.
“Fola is literally my best friend,” Lojay said. “From the very first day I met her, I just knew she was different. She’s the only woman in the 30BG crew and she holds it down for everybody. Since then, we just clicked and have been good friends ever since. Unfortunately for me, I’m not ready for a relationship yet. Some people assume that means you’re messing around, but that’s not my reality. Sometimes people genuinely need time to heal, and that’s where I am right now.”
