Tears and Accusations: Blessing CEO Says IVD’s Ordeal Fueled by One Woman’s Vendetta

Published

on

Relationship therapist and social media personality, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has spoken out following the arrest of her fiancé, popular auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, also known as IVD.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

According to reports, IVD was apprehended by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command at the airport while attempting to board a flight to Qatar. His arrest is reportedly connected to the ongoing domestic violence investigation into the 2022 death of his wife, Bimbo.

Reacting via Instagram, Blessing CEO questioned the legality of the arrest, asserting that there was no travel restriction on IVD. She argued that if such restrictions existed, he wouldn’t have openly made travel plans. She also disclosed that his passport was only recently reissued after being declared missing for two years and insisted that no court order had seized the document.

Blessing further alleged that IVD was being detained without a proper case file or formal charges, revealing that police officers informed them he would remain in custody until Monday — even though no official statement had been taken from him.

She accused an unnamed powerful individual of exploiting influence to orchestrate IVD’s detention, framing the situation as an emotional and tribal power tussle rather than a pursuit of justice.

In her words:

“What exactly are you charging him with? Where is the paperwork? Why is he being held hostage just to please one woman? This isn’t justice — it’s tribal warfare, and the state must be held accountable. Nobody arrested IVD — one man is simply using his position to bully him. There’s no case file, no statement, just ‘Oga said hold him till Monday.’ For what, exactly?

They know the courts are on vacation, that’s why they’re pulling this stunt. And yet, bloggers somehow know more than the police. I wonder how much that woman paid you, Oga.

“I rest my case. Stop bullying IVD because he’s a man. Stop intimidating him. Just because you failed to destroy him, you’re now using institutional power to harass him. This is pure injustice. He’s been hounded for over three years.”

Oloyede said many of the issues recorded during the mock exercise were due to poor assessment of centres by some technical officials.

He further stated that incentive packages would be awarded to teams that perform exceptionally, particularly in handling exam materials and submitting timely reports.

Reiterating JAMB’s zero-tolerance stance on malpractice, he warned candidates against bringing prohibited items into examination halls.
