Who Made the Cut? Full List of Okpebholo’s Commissioner Nominees Released!

According to a statement released on Friday by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, the nominations are subject to confirmation by the Edo State House of Assembly.

Hon. (Barr.) Nosa T. Adams
A seasoned lawyer and political activist, Hon. Nosa T. Adams holds qualifications in both law and human resource management. His career spans key roles in the public and private sectors, including serving as Chairman of Egor Local Government Area, Special Adviser to the Edo State Governor, and General Manager of Edo State Rubber Estates. A member of the Nigerian Bar Association, he currently leads Nosa Adams & Co. as Principal Partner.
Hon. Yakubu Oshiorenua Musa (JP)
Hon. Yakubu Musa is a multifaceted professional – a politician, philanthropist, Rotarian, agricultural scientist, and business consultant. He holds degrees in Agriculture and Business Administration and is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC–Nigeria). He previously served as Executive Chairman of Etsako West Local Government Area and has been honoured as an Eminent Peace Ambassador by the International Association of World Peace Advocates. He is also active in the Rotary Club of Auchi Metro.
Hon. (Dr.) Felix Ehiguese Akhabue
Dr. Akhabue is a chartered accountant, businessman, and public servant with a long-standing commitment to grassroots development. He is a former Executive Chairman of Esan West Local Government and a former National President of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON). Internationally, he has served as Vice President of United Cities and Local Governments of Africa (UCLGA) and as a board member of the Commonwealth Local Government Forum (CLGF).
Engr. Prof. Omorodion Ignatius Ikponmwosa
An academic authority in Industrial and Production Engineering, Prof. Ikponmwosa brings a strong background in automation and control systems. He holds a B.Eng. in Mechanical/Production Engineering, an M.Eng. in Manufacturing Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Automation and Control from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, the University of Benin, and Ambrose Alli University, respectively. He is a registered member of COREN, NSE, and the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC).
