Commenting on the acquisition, UAC Group Managing Director Fola Aiyesimoju described the move as a major opportunity to drive value and strengthen the company’s presence in the FMCG space.

He expressed confidence in CHI Limited’s strong foundation and applauded the team behind its success.

“This acquisition offers the potential to build on CHI’s legacy of excellence and innovation,” he added, acknowledging the contributions of its management and staff.

CHI Limited Managing Director Eelco Weber also reacted positively to the development, noting the company’s impressive trajectory over the years, with Chivita and Hollandia becoming household names in their segments.
