Gov Radda Roars: Opposition Coalition Is Just ‘Noise From Bitter Losers’

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has described members of the opposition coalition as frustrated elements who are raising their voices in anger simply because they are not part of the government.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

According to NIVONEWS, Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has dismissed the newly formed opposition coalition as a gathering of disgruntled politicians “crying and shouting” simply because they are no longer in government.

Recall that the coalition recently adopted the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as its political platform ahead of the 2027 general election, naming former Senate President David Mark as interim national chairman, former Minister of Interior Rauf Aregbesola as national secretary, and Bolaji Abdullahi as spokesperson. In his acceptance speech, Mark accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of turning Nigeria into a de facto one-party state.

Reacting during an interview on Sunrise Daily, a Channels Television breakfast programme, Governor Radda stated that Nigerians are now politically aware and can no longer be deceived by recycled politicians masquerading as agents of change.

“Let’s be realistic. The time for deceiving Nigerians is over. Who among them wasn’t in government before? We know their track records,” Radda said. “Now that they’re outside government, they’re crying and shouting. But what exactly are they offering Nigerians that’s different?”

He challenged the coalition leaders to present a concrete agenda rather than vague rhetoric, questioning their stance on key issues like fuel subsidy and fiscal responsibility.

“If they plan to bring back the subsidy, let them explain how they’ll fund it. Let them tell Nigerians how they intend to manage the economy differently and with what resources,” Radda insisted.

He added that merely forming a coalition without a clear policy direction or credible alternatives to current governance challenges will not sway the electorate.

Oloyede said many of the issues recorded during the mock exercise were due to poor assessment of centres by some technical officials.

He further stated that incentive packages would be awarded to teams that perform exceptionally, particularly in handling exam materials and submitting timely reports.

Reiterating JAMB’s zero-tolerance stance on malpractice, he warned candidates against bringing prohibited items into examination halls.
