Anyanwu’s Return Will Wreck PDP Unity – NADG Blows Hot

The National Alliance for Democratic Governance (NADG) has declared that Senator Samuel Anyanwu’s reinstatement as the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dealt a devastating blow to the party’s stability and cohesion.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The National Alliance for Democratic Governance (NADG) has dismissed the widely held belief that Senator Samuel Anyanwu’s return as National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) following the 100th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting would restore stability or revive the embattled opposition party.

In a strongly worded statement, the group argued that entrusting the PDP’s internal structures to “known anti-party agents collaborating with external forces to dismantle the party” amounts to delivering the party into the hands of those determined to bury it.

Comrade James Ezema, President and National Coordinator of NADG, said the PDP’s consistent marginalisation of the South East had finally brought the party to political ruin.

“We must reflect on the deeper implications of the charade that unfolded at the PDP’s 100th NEC meeting,” Ezema said. “What has essentially happened is that the party has surrendered its soul to individuals who openly boasted about sabotaging the PDP in the 2023 presidential race—and who now plan to do so again in 2027, this time with even greater access and influence.”

He warned that these individuals would be tasked with setting up the committees and conventions that would shape the party’s leadership and primary process—ultimately producing, in his words, “a feeble presidential candidate who poses no real challenge to the APC, if the PDP even makes it to 2027.”

According to NADG, the PDP is now on the verge of collapse:
“This NEC decision has set the stage for the PDP’s funeral. A party that dishonours a loyal partner just to placate disloyal allies deserves what it gets,” the statement read.

The group insisted the party had already lost its ideological compass long ago.
“Seasoned observers knew the PDP had lost its soul. But that the party would voluntarily place its head on the chopping block and hand the blade to its executioners only confirms its terminal decline.”

Ezema recalled that the party’s decline accelerated when prominent South East leaders—such as Peter Obi and Dave Umahi—defected ahead of the 2023 polls, after the PDP failed to zone its presidential ticket to the region.

“By refusing to correct the injustice done in 2023 and ignoring the South East’s position on the National Secretary role as a means of restoring balance, the PDP has now triggered its full-scale implosion.”

He concluded by saying that history would remember Acting National Chairman, Ambassador Umar Damagun, as the man who oversaw the final collapse of the PDP.

Shocking Exchange: Presidency Blasts Peter Obi Over Alleged Party Control Battle.

Published

The Presidency has criticised former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, questioning his leadership ability and accusing him of failing to manage internal crises within the Labour Party (LP).....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

According to reports, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Public Communication, Sunday Dare, made the remarks during an interview on African Independent Television (AIT) on Monday.

Dare argued that Obi did not found the Labour Party and does not have full control over its structure, adding that his handling of party disputes raises concerns about his leadership capacity.

He further alleged that Obi has shown a pattern of moving between political platforms rather than resolving internal challenges, insisting that he “cannot fix” his own party.

Dare said the Labour Party’s internal crisis had been visible for years and questioned Obi’s level of involvement in resolving it, suggesting that he instead left the party amid the turmoil.

He stated that such leadership qualities should be scrutinised given national responsibilities, adding, “You cannot fix your party.”

The presidential aide also addressed claims linking the Presidency to the crisis within the African Democratic Congress (ADC), rejecting any involvement and insisting the party’s internal issues were not influenced by the federal government.

He maintained that the ADC situation is already before the courts and should be resolved through judicial processes rather than public agitation or political pressure.

Dare urged all parties involved to respect ongoing legal proceedings, stressing that court decisions would ultimately determine the outcome of the disputes.

He added that the government remains committed to respecting the judiciary and warned against attempts to influence public opinion while cases are still being decided.

Shocking Insight: Don Jazzy Reveals Key Reason Marriages Don’t Last Today.

Published

Nigerian music executive Don Jazzy has sparked reactions online after sharing a lighthearted explanation about why many modern marriages seem to break down faster than those of previous generations.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

In a video that quickly went viral on social media, the Mavin Records boss used wedding cakes as a humorous analogy to compare past and present relationships.

He noted that in earlier times, couples often used fruit cakes made with alcohol for weddings. According to him, such cakes were durable and could last for long periods—sometimes up to a year—allowing couples to preserve and even share portions during their first wedding anniversary.

He jokingly suggested that this long-lasting nature of traditional cakes symbolically reflected the stability of marriages in the past.

Don Jazzy contrasted this with today’s trend, where many couples opt for butter or ice-cream cakes that require careful storage and spoil more easily.

He humorously implied that the shorter lifespan of these modern cakes mirrors the perceived fragility of some contemporary marriages.

He also pointed out that many modern wedding cakes are often heavily decorated with non-edible materials, with only a small portion actually meant for consumption.
