This update was disclosed in a statement released late Wednesday by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB).
According to the Board, the official recruitment portal will now become active on Monday, July 14, 2025, nearly three weeks later than initially planned.
“The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) wishes to inform the public that the recruitment portal, originally set to open on Thursday, June 26, 2025, will now open on Monday, July 14, 2025,” the statement read.
The Board also confirmed the official web address for applications as recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, urging interested candidates to take note of the change.
It stressed that all applications are entirely free and warned applicants against paying anyone or any agent posing as a representative of the board.
“Applicants are advised to note these changes and be reminded that the application process is free of charge and requires no payment whatsoever,” the Board added.
The CDCFIB apologised for any inconvenience caused by the rescheduling and assured the public of its commitment to a transparent and efficient recruitment process.
Earlier this week, the Board announced the opening of recruitment into key paramilitary agencies including the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).
